Job summary

Bluegrass Stream LLC in Augusta, GA is seeking a Cytotechnologist to support a patient-centered diagnostic team by preparing and microscopically evaluating patient specimens to detect precancerous and malignant conditions.

You will prepare gynecologic, non-gynecologic, and fine needle aspiration (FNA) specimens; perform microscopic evaluation; collaborate with pathologists and clinical staff; and ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, and Joint Commission.

Qualifications

• Training and competency in cytology specimen preparation and microscopic interpretation.
• Strong attention to detail, quality assurance focus, and reliable specimen handling.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate professionally with clinical partners.
• Knowledge of laboratory compliance standards and safe, accurate workflow practices.
