Job summary

PathGroup is seeking an AP/CP Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pathologist with subspecialty training or strong experience in Cytopathology to join our high-volume, collaborative pathology team in Greenville, South Carolina.

This full-time role offers a strong emphasis on cytopathology while maintaining a required general surgical pathology component within a large, subspecialty-supported practice environment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• AP/CP board certification or eligibility.
• Cytopathology board certification or eligibility preferred.
• Eligible for South Carolina medical license.

• Strong diagnostic, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Cytopathology sign-out including gynecologic and non-gynecologic cases.
• General surgical pathology sign-out as part of routine duties.
• ROSE and EBUS coverage on a scheduled rotation.
• Frozen section services.
• Interdisciplinary tumor board participation.
• Lab quality assurance and CAP compliance involvement.

PathGroup is seeking an AP/CP Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pathologist with subspecialty training or strong experience in Cytopathology to join our high-volume, collaborative pathology team in Greenville, South Carolina. This full-time role offers a strong emphasis on cytopathology while maintaining a required general surgical pathology component within a large, subspecialty-supported practice environment.

There is an opportunity to take on increased responsibility within cytopathology over time, including potential future leadership duties.

• Primary focus on cytopathology cases (gynecologic and non-gynecologic)

• No grossing responsibilities (dedicated Pathologist Assistants onsite)

• Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
