Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with required chemistry/biology coursework.
• At least 3 months lab training in each specialty lab area where highly complex testing is performed.
• Cytology laboratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-analytic lab procedures in Histology, Core lab, or Microbiology as needed.
• Collaborate with certified staff and pathologists on specimen labeling and preparation.
• Assist with standard operating procedures and clerical duties as assigned.
• Troubleshoot instrument issues and ensure accurate patient orders in EMR.
