Geisinger’s Cytopathology team is seeking a skilled cytotechnologist to screen gynecologic and non-gynecologic cytology samples. The role includes signing out negative gynecology reports, assisting with FNA when needed, and advising on specimen collection with rapid staining and adequacy assessment.
Must hold ASCP CT credentials and participate in QA, continuing education, and teaching activities within a dynamic academic setting. Full-time, on-site at Geisinger Medical Center.

oin our team at Geisinger Medical Center! Our cytopathology services are headed by Dr. Sara Monaco and processes more than 35,000 cytology cases per year, of which approximately 12,000 are non-gynecologic cases.
This position offers the chance to be part of a large system with a collaborative and vibrant atmosphere. You will not be stuck at the microscope reading slides all day!You will attend a wide range of procedures at the main hospital, screen both non-gyn and FNA cases from a variety of procedures and body locations.
As an academic teaching facility associated with a residency program, cytopathology fellowship, and medical school, there are residents, fellows, and students that interact with professional staff daily and provide educational conferences, and also offer the chance for our cytologists to teach.
