Responsibilities

• Perform complex clinical laboratory tests on cytogenetic specimens for diagnosis.
• Prepare specimens and assist co-workers; detect subtle abnormalities.
• Harvest, stain, image, and analyze metaphase and interphase cells for G-band and FISH analyses.
• Conduct karyotyping and prepare cases for sign-out.
• Perform FISH analyses and ensure accurate documentation and reporting.
