Job summary

Labcorp in Brentwood, TN is seeking a Cytogenetics (FISH) Technologist to join our wet lab team. Responsibilities include processing, analyzing, and reporting cytogenetic tests with strict adherence to SOPs and quality controls.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree or MLS, with Cytogenetics/FISH experience preferred. Ability to work Tuesday–Saturday, 9:00 am–5:30 pm, with potential for overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology.
• MLS degree or 1 year+ clinical laboratory testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cytogenetics/FISH procedures and related lab tasks per SOPs.
• Maintain quality control and document results accurately for patient care.
• Operate and troubleshoot laboratory instruments; monitor testing processes.
