Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Cytotechnologist to join a hospital laboratory in New York. You will examine and interpret cytology specimens, collaborate with pathologists, and uphold quality standards in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The position requires 3 years of experience (5 preferred), ASCP Cytotechnologist certification, NY Cytotechnologist license, and current PAP PT testing or scheduled testing. Health screenings and immunizations are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience; 5 years preferred.
• ASCP Board Certification as a Cytotechnologist/Cytologist.
• NYS Cytotechnologist/Cytologist license.
• Current proof of passing PAP PT testing or scheduled PT testing for this calendar year.
• Completion of required health screenings and immunizations.

The Cytotechnologist will be responsible for examining and interpreting cytology specimens, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and maintaining laboratory protocols. This role involves working with pathologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic information.
