Overview

As a Cypress Automation Test Lead, you will make an impact by designing and implementing robust automation frameworks that ensure the quality and reliability of our software solutions. You will be a valued member of the Quality Engineering & Assurance team and work collaboratively with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality applications.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Cypress and TypeScript.
  • Write and execute SQL queries to validate data and ensure data integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand enterprise tech stacks and develop automation solutions.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot test failures, identify root causes, and provide actionable solutions.
  • Continuously improve and optimize test automation processes, tools, and best practices.

What you need to have to be considered
  • Overall 9 to 10 yrs. of QA experience with
  • 5–7 years of experience in test automation development using Cypress and TypeScript.
  • Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries for data validation.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary and Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until 10/10/2025. The annual salary for this position is between $71,100 and $112,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
