The Child and Youth Program (CYP) Food Service Worker position at Commander, Navy Installations Command in Annapolis, MD, performs a variety of food preparation and service tasks in a CDC and may assist with food preparation for the SAC program.

H.S. diploma or equivalent is required; this federal role runs 20–34 hours per week with a pay range of $19.69 to $23.96 per hour. Applications close on 2026-11-05. This position is with the Department of the Navy and open to MSPouse candidates.

Formación

• H.S. Diploma or equivalent.
• A copy of your HS diploma, GED, or college transcripts MUST be submitted when applying.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in food preparation with tasks such as peeling potatoes; cutting, sorting and washing vegetables and fruits; assembling sandwiches; and measuring and weighing ingredients.
• Stocks food service carts with appropriate utensils, plates, bowls, food and beverages for family style dining in classrooms or activity areas.
• Transports food from kitchen area to classrooms or activity areas and disposes of all food waste and trash.
• Pre-rinses and washes pots, pans, dishes, glasses and silverware and cleans serving carts and food preparation areas.
• Operates and maintains cleaning of all electrical equipment assigned to the area for food preparation and stores sanitized dishes and silverware.
