The purpose of the Child and Youth Program (CYP) Food Service Worker position is to perform a variety of food preparation and food service tasks for the CYP. This position is located in a Child Development Center (CDC) but may assist with food preparation for the School Age Care (SAC) Program.
The CYP Food Service Worker performs various tasks in food service preparation, including:
Must complete background checks, pass a physical, provide immunization evidence, and be free of communicable diseases. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, reside within 50 miles of 32212, and meet security clearance requirements are necessary. Applicants must be 18 or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Experience with food handling, personal hygiene, safe work procedures, measuring ingredients, and basic arithmetic is required. Knowledge of diet principles, sanitation standards, and skills in recipe development and food quality evaluation are essential. Effective communication skills in English are also necessary.
H.S. Diploma or equivalent. Submission of diploma or transcripts is required.
