A well-established government agency seeks a Child and Youth Program Custodian to perform essential cleaning tasks within various facilities. Candidates must have knowledge of cleaning agents, effective communication skills, and the ability to meet physical requirements. This role is critical in ensuring a clean and safe environment for children and youth programs.
The purpose of the Child and Youth Program Custodian position is to provide a variety of semiskilled labor and cleaning tasks for the CYP facilities, including Child Development Centers (CDCs), School Age Care (SAC) programs, Youth Programs, Child Development Home (CDH) offices, and lending libraries.
Duties
All custodial and housekeeping services will be performed according to established specifications. Child and youth routines will not be disturbed by custodial activities. Some cleaning services will take place when programs are not in operation and children and youth are not present. The CYP custodian is responsible for cleaning and the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies. These tasks include:
