Commander, Navy Installations Command is seeking a CYP Cook to perform a variety of food preparation and service tasks in a Child Development Center (CDC) serving military families.

The role requires following standardized recipes, ensuring meals meet safety standards, and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen. Work schedule varies by facility with 0–40 hours/week. Posting notes include entry on Overseas paths with multiple US locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent. Must provide a copy of your HS Diploma, GED, or college transcripts when you apply.

Responsabilités

• Performs a variety of food preparation and food service tasks for CYP, located in a Child Development Center (CDC).
• Prepares meats, poultry, seafood, vegetables, sauces and gravies following standardized recipes; plans and schedules cooking procedures to ensure meals are ready on time.
• Maintains kitchen areas and equipment; cleans carts, prep areas, and dishwashing areas; operates a mechanical dishwasher; sanitizes areas and maintains storage per standards.
• Monitors temperatures, portioning, and food quality; modifies recipes for quantities and equipment; coordinates meal preparation for multiple meals.
• Ensures compliance with security, fire, sanitation rules, and CACFP standards; reports concerns as required.
