Job summary

Manchester Tank is seeking a production teammate to read blueprints, inspect cylinders, and support assembly operations in our Illinois facility. You will perform tests, install fittings, and follow rigorous safety and EHS guidelines to ensure quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to accurately create equipment and products.
• Inspect cylinders for visual and structural defects to meet quality standards.
• Perform structural testing and identify, reject, and mark defective parts.
• Follow safety and operational protocols when installing and removing fittings on cylinders.
• Maintain awareness of safety, environmental, and process improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints and drawings to produce equipment.
• Inspect cylinders for defects and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Conduct structural testing and identify defective parts for rejection.
• Install and remove fittings on cylinders per safety procedures.
• Operate at various workstations to support production flow.
• Shut down the process if unsafe conditions are observed.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
