Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. in Wilmington, OH is seeking a Cylinder Processor for the 3rd shift to process gas cylinders according to established guidelines and to ensure quality via inspections before filling.

You will handle loading/unloading, operate scales, and prepare transfer orders with accurate data entry, while maintaining quality documentation and operating forklifts as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1+ year experience in a plant/manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical background.
• Good leadership, problem solving, communication, and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Process medical and industrial gas cylinders following plant guidelines and procedures.
• Conduct cylinder inspections for retesting or repairs via visual, physical, and odor tests before filling.
• Check cylinders for quantities, styles and product; fill if needed and load/unload from weekly shuttle truck.
• Operate and maintain cylinder scales and related equipment.
• Prepare warehouse transfer orders and accompanying paperwork; enter quantities, styles and products into the computer for stock accounting.
• Complete and maintain quality control documentation; operate forklift and other plant vehicles.

What you will enjoy doing*

• This role requires you to process medical and industrial gas cylinders using established plant guidelines and procedures
• You will conduct cylinder inspections to determine need for retesting or repairs through visual, physical, and odor tests before filling
• Check for cylinder quantities, styles and product, and fill any necessary product. Load and unload product from weekly shuttle truck
• Operate and maintain cylinder scales and associated equipment
• Further, you will prepare warehouse transfer orders and accompanying paperwork for shipment and keys into the computer the quantities, styles and products filled in order to justify the stock inventory
• Complete and maintain quality control documentation as per company and Governmental procedures, and operate a forklift truck and other plant vehicles

What Makes You Great

• You have a high school degree / GED
• You have more than one (1+) year experience in plant or manufacturing environment
• A strong mechanical background is desired
• You must possess good leadership, problem solving, communication, and organization skills

Pay Range: $19.47 - $28.56, depending on experience.
