Job summary

Linde plc is seeking an on-site technician in Cahokia, IL to process and inspect gas cylinders, fill products, and manage warehouse operations. The role requires a mechanical background and experience in manufacturing with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• 1+ year of experience in a plant or manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical background is preferred.
• Must have leadership, problem-solving, communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Process medical and industrial gas cylinders using established plant guidelines and procedures.
• Conduct cylinder inspections to determine retesting or repair needs via visual, physical and odor tests before filling.
• Check cylinder quantities, styles and products; fill as needed and load/unload weekly shuttle truck.
• Operate and maintain cylinder scales and related equipment.
• Prepare warehouse transfer orders and paperwork; enter quantities, styles and products into the system to justify stock inventory.
• Complete and maintain quality control documentation per company and government procedures; operate forklift and other plant vehicles.
