Job summary

Hyperion Solutions in Richmond, IN, is seeking a Cylinder Prep Assistant to support its elevator components production. You will set up and operate drill presses, use hand tools, mark parts, and help manage inventory while following safety policies.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, be able to read blueprints and tape measures, lift up to 50 pounds, and stand for up to eight hours daily.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Adhere to assigned production schedule.
• Set up and operate Drill Press machine in a safe manner.

• Maintain, organize, and clean equipment and work area.
• Notify supervisor when faulty equipment or defective materials are discovered.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including PPE.

Hyperion Solutions is currently seeking a Cylinder Prep Assistant for our Elevator Equipment Corporation location in Richmond, IN. Hyperion is constantly looking for talented, self-motivated, skilled team members to join our team. Reporting to the Area Supervisor, this position plays an integral part on the team by assisting in our goal to build high-quality elevator components.

Primary Responsibilities

• Adhere to assigned production schedule
• Set up and operate Drill Press machine in a safe manner
• Use of various hand tools
• Set up and mark parts as needed
• Assist with inventory management
• Maintain, organize, and clean equipment and work area
• Notify supervisor when faulty equipment or defective materials are discovered
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including the wearing of appropriate personal protective equipment
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
