Job summary

NATURAL GAS FUEL SYSTEMS LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer-Cylinder Manufacturing in Roanoke, TX. You will develop and optimize manufacturing processes, document work instructions, and ensure ISO 9001 quality standards while evaluating vendors and equipment for ROI.

The role requires CAD proficiency, experience with Autodesk Inventor/AutoCAD, and 5 years of related experience, plus travel as needed to support manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering from an accredited college.
• 5 years’ experience, preferably with OEM or engine manufacturing, or equivalent.
• Strong working knowledge of CAD software (Autodesk Inventor/AutoCAD) required.
• Experience in design projects, manufacturing processes, programming manufacturing equipment.
• PLC and HMI diagnostic/repair experience is a plus.
• Must be willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Identify, implement, and improve manufacturing processes, methods, quality, and controls.
• Develop and document step-by-step work instructions for products.
• Maintain ISO 9001 documentation and ensure compliance.
• Evaluate vendors, materials, and equipment with ROI analysis.
• Provide safe operating procedure knowledge for CNG fuel systems.
• Lead cross-functional reviews and use Six Sigma tools for data analysis.
