Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. in Morrisville, PA is seeking a Cylinder Maintenance Technician to inspect cylinders, perform conversions and repairs, and operate hydrostatic and ultrasonic testers to ensure safe, compliant products.

You must have a high school diploma or GED, be able to lift 40–70 lbs, and be mechanically inclined. Prior gas industry or cylinder maintenance experience is preferred, and forklift operation is part of the job. Linde offers competitive pay and benefits.

Responsabilidades

• Perform visual and physical inspections on cylinders before filling to determine retesting or repairs are required.
• Conduct cylinder conversions, including de-valving, valving, stripping, and repairing valves.
• Operate hydrostatic and ultrasonic cylinder testers.
• Maintain required certifications to certify cylinders as retested.
• Operate a forklift to support material handling and movement of cylinders.
• Receive incoming cylinders, valves, and maintenance supplies; diagnose and repair neck leaks and safety-related leaks.
• Identify defective cylinders and scrap when appropriate.
• Perform painting, housekeeping, and light maintenance to keep a clean, safe work environment.

What you will enjoy doing*

• This role will require you to perform visual and physical inspections on cylinders before filling to determine whether retesting or repairs are required
• You will conduct cylinder conversions, including de-valving, valving, stripping, and repairing valves
• Operate hydrostatic and ultrasonic cylinder testers
• Maintain required certifications to properly certify cylinders as retested
• Operate a forklift to support material handling and movement of cylinders
• Receive incoming cylinders, valves, and cylinder maintenance supplies; diagnose and repair cylinder neck leaks and safety-related leaks
• You will nspect and identify defective cylinders, scrapping cylinders when appropriate
• Responsible for performing painting, housekeeping, and light plant maintenance tasks to maintain a clen and safe work environment
