Job summary

Linde plc in Hammond, IN is seeking a warehouse associate to support cylinder filling, loading, unloading, and inventory control in a fast-paced environment.

You will follow GMP and safety policies, operate a forklift, verify lot numbers, and maintain filling records, with emphasis on accuracy and teamwork. The role requires a high school diploma, good communication, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds outdoors in varying temperatures.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to Linde safety policies, PPE use, and site-specific requirements.
  • Count incoming cylinders and verify lot numbers; load/unload trucks.
  • Inspect returned cylinders for defects and segregate defective ones.
  • Ensure calibration and document equipment accuracy.
  • Safely operate forklift/hand truck for material movement.
  • Fill cylinders per guidelines and maintain filling records.

What you will enjoy doing*
  • Inthis role you will adhere to all Linde plc Safety Policies, including properuse of personal protective equipment (PPE), safe lifting techniques, andsitespecific safety requirements
  • You will apply basic GoodManufacturing Practices (GMP) and Quality Control pronciples to all tasks
  • Count incoming cylinders, verify lotnumbers and load/unload trucks as required
  • Responsible for inspecting returned cylinders for surface defects andfollowing procedures for safe handling and storage
  • Identify and separate defective cylinders from production and transfer themto designated quarantine areas
  • You will review, document and confiirm proper calibration of equipmentensuring all equipment to ensure ongoing accuracy and compliance
  • Safely operate a forklift and hand truck to suppport loading,unloading and warehouse material movement
  • Fillcylinders in accordance with established guidelines,including completing allrequired pre-fill and post-fill inspections and maintaining cylinder fillingrecords in compliance with applicable regulations
