Job summary

Airgas, an Air Liquide company, is seeking a Cylinder Loader in La Porte, TX to fill and inspect high‑pressure cylinders safely and efficiently. The role involves lifting heavy weights, handling cylinders, and supporting loading and inventory tasks in a fast-paced gas distribution facility.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and comprehend written and computer-generated documentation.
• Ability to perform very heavy work—regularly lift 25–75 lbs., occasionally 76+ lbs. with assist.
• Must be forklift certified and able to operate related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Fill high‑pressure cylinders (Industrial, Medical, and mixed gases) using compression temperature/pressure method.
• Inspect pre-fill and post-fill to ensure safety and record maintaining procedures.
• Load/unload trucks or trailers as part of logistics flow and assist with inventory housekeeping.
