Cylinder Hydrotest Manager Trainee (Fire Extinguishers)
Location: Memphis, TN
The Cylinder Hydrotest Manager Trainee must be focused, detail-oriented, and self-motivated. The candidate should be able to work independently and in a team environment, enjoy working with hands-on tasks, be mechanically inclined, follow written and verbal instructions, and be proficient with the latest technology. Accuracy and precision in following procedures and regulatory processes are mandatory.
The candidate will undergo a training program that includes learning to examine, test, and maintain compressed gas cylinders, including those used in beverage, scuba, and fire extinguishers, per DOT and NFPA specifications. Upon completion, the candidate will begin safe testing and maintenance of compressed gas cylinders, which may include delivery. The candidate must demonstrate a competent understanding of NFPA codes, manufacturer standards, and DOT 49 CFR guidelines.
The candidate must be in good physical condition, as the job demands are physical. This position will be based in Memphis.
