Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Cylinder Handler to load and unload gas cylinders from route trucks, move them with a forklift, and support inventory accuracy.

You will sort empties, review customer orders, pull items from inventory, and assist with shipment paperwork while maintaining a clean, safe work area. A high school diploma and 1+ year in a plant or manufacturing setting are required.

Qualifications

What you will enjoy doing*

• This role requires you to load and unload gas cylinders and related products onto and from route trucks and trailers; move cylinders by rolling and by operating a forklift
• You will sort empty cylinders by type and check cylinder quantities, styles, and product specifications to support accurate inventory management
• You will review customer orders, pull required items from inventory, and load products onto trucks for delivery
• Perform basic cylinder maintenance, including painting, labeling, and cleaning the work area
• Assist with paperwork accompanying shipments
• This role includes completing both routine and non-routine daily and weekly assignments as directed

What Makes You Great

• You have a high school degree / GED
• You have more than one (1+) year experience in plant or manufacturing environment
• A strong mechanical background is desired
• You must possess good leadership, problem solving, communication, and organizational skills

Pay Range: $21.36 - $31.32
