Job summary

Airgas, an Air Liquide company, is hiring a Production Operator - Cylinder Filler in Albuquerque, NM. You will fill and repackage gases into cylinders, operate related equipment, and perform safety inspections on each fill. You will help with loading/unloading and maintain accurate filling records.

A strong safety mindset and the ability to lift heavy loads are essential. The role requires US work authorization, a forklift operator capability, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Requires legal work authorization in the U.S. and cannot require visa sponsorship.
• Ability to perform very heavy work – routinely lifts 25–75 lbs, and occasionally >100 lbs with assistance.
• Ability to read and comprehend written and computer-generated documentation.
• Ability to operate forklift and obtain forklift certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent; forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make and/or repack and pump compressed and liquefied gases into cylinders.
• Fill cylinders to target pressure or weight following safety procedures.
• Inspect pre-fill and post-fill, perform tests to verify safety before release.
• Maintain cylinder filling records and follow local/state/federal regulations.
• Assist with loading/unloading trucks and general housekeeping.
