Job summary

Fike Corporation in Blue Springs, MO is seeking a Cylinder Fill Operator Trainee on 2nd shift to train with primary operators. The role focuses on clean agent processes, packaging, and learning to operate packaging equipment while adhering to safety and ISO9001 requirements.

As an entry-level position, you'll gain hands-on experience assembling valve components and containers, completing work orders, and documenting transactions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; ability to read and follow standard procedures, work orders and engineered drawings.
• Exposure to hand tools and mechanical measuring tools such as calipers and gauges.
• Six plus months manufacturing, mechanical assembly or vocational school training.

Responsibilities

• Packages clean agent containers for shipment per bill of material or load plan for domestic and international shipments.
• Operates lifting devices to move products (chain hoists, pallet jacks, forklifts).
• Assembles 1" and 3" Impulse valve assemblies for installation into clean agent containers.
• Assembles containers per work orders, procedures and drawings; completes required reporting and documentation.
• Adheres to safety practices and ISO9001 requirements; supports 6S initiative.
