Responsibilities

• Load and deliver propane cylinders to commercial forklift customers in Denver Metro and Front Range.
• Safely handle and transport cylinders; lift 55–75 pounds as needed.
• Provide superior customer service and help establish new propane customer relationships.
• Deliver propane to local customers and be home for dinner most nights.
• Perform gas safety checks and ensure equipment and tank systems are safe and maintained.

Denver Propane Exchange in Denver, CO has openings for a Cylinder Exchange Driver. You must be 21 years old and have at least 2 years of CDL driving experience to be considered for this job!

A SIGN ON BONUS of $2,000 is available for this position! You will receive 1/2 after 6 months of employment and 1/2 at one year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Load and deliver propane cylinders to commercial forklift customers throughout the Denver Metro area and Front Range.
• Safely handle and transport cylinders.
• Frequently lift cylinders weighing 55–75 pounds.
• Provide superior customer service and during slow periods, help establish new propane customer relationships.
• Safely deliver propane to local customers (home every night).
• Be mechanically inclined to safely perform gas safety checks and ensure that company equipment and tank systems are safe and well-maintained.
• Lift up to 75 pounds.

Requirements

• CDL Class B license with HazMat endorsement, or the ability to obtain one shortly after hire (assistance available).
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment DOT drug screening and background check.
• Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to follow direction from management.
• Required to have or obtain within 90 days: LP-3 Retail Sale of LP Gas License.
• Must have a clean driving record with a Class B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements, be able to work outside in adverse weather, be dependable, and be willing to work a rotating on-call schedule.
• Must communicate clearly and effectively.
• HazMat certifications must be maintained.
• You must also be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
