Job summary

NOV in Carlsbad, NM is seeking a hands-on technician to dismantle, rebuild and test Cyclops Setting Tools according to work instructions. Weekend/holiday availability on a 14/7 schedule and lifting up to 75 lbs are required.

You will report progress in NOV software, ensure tools are ready for use, support deliveries and pickups, and uphold professionalism and safety. Prior experience with downhole tools and shop work is a plus, with basic tool proficiency essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with assembly or shop work preferred.
• Basic tool handling and measurement skills.
• Willing to work 14/7 schedule including weekends/holidays.
• Familiarity with safety procedures in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Wash, tear down, rebuild and test Cyclops Setting Tools under supervision.
• Report all steps of the Cyclops Recycling Program using NOV software.
• Ensure equipment and tools are available, maintained, and ready for use.
• Assist with tool deliveries and pickups as needed.
• Maintain professionalism, honesty, and integrity at all times.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the supervisor.
