Job summary

Halfords in Carlisle is seeking a part-time Bike Technician to deliver high-quality cycle service and repair across kids, adult, premium, performance and electric cycles. You’ll work on a rota and help customers find their dream bike.

Qualifications

• Experience of servicing, building and repairing across a range of cycles.
• Experience delivering great customer service, ideally in retail or cycle services.

You’ll have some technical skills, but more about that later. Your unbridled enthusiasm for bikes combined with your knack with customers is what will lead you to success in this role - you’ll be delivering market leading standards of cycle service and repair, after all. Working on kids, adult, premium, performance and electric cycles, you’ll help us wow every customer.

Carrying out most of the service and repair work yourself, you'll also help develop other members of the team. We only work to the highest quality standards, just like you. A practical problem solver who works quickly and efficiently, you’ll help customers find and maintain their dream bike.

Ideally, you already have experience in a retail or cycle services environment, but if you have practical skills and experience of delivering fantastic customer service, we can help you with the rest.

To be successful in this role you'll need:
