Job summary

Momentec Brands is seeking a Cycle Counter in Kannapolis, NC to maintain accurate finished goods inventory records and support distribution center operations.

The role requires counting inventory, locating material, and keeping precise data while following safety protocols in a non-temperature-controlled warehouse environment. Typical hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday–Friday, with overtime possible during busy periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–3 months of related experience and/or training.
• Ability to operate computer and tablet technology.
• Ability to count and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Exceptional attention to detail, self-motivation, and a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Tally the entire product inventory in designated stocking locations by recording counts on paper and entering data into a computer terminal.
• Complete required training and acquire the skill set to operate a stand-up forklift for counting bulk stock locations.
• Support other distribution center areas to facilitate customer order processing, including replenishment, receiving, shipping, full case picking, and slotting.
• Remove cartons from the line and place them in appropriate stock locations.
• Consolidate cartons with identical garments as needed to ensure safe placement in designated stock locations.
• Print missing location labels and attach them to bin locations.
• Conduct searches to locate misclassified inventory.
• Pick orders and assist with distribution as necessary.
• Ensure all safety rules are strictly observed.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations and handle inventory-related tasks with accuracy.
• Assists with other responsibilities within the Distribution departments to meet business and service requirements.
