Job summary

Silgan Dispensing Systems is seeking a Cycle Counter to maintain accurate inventory records by performing routine counts of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods in the warehouse. You will compare counts to system records, investigate discrepancies, and use WMS to record variances while ensuring safety and quality standards.

The role collaborates with warehouse, shipping, and receiving teams to maintain inventory integrity and supports audits, stock rotation, and location accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a similar role preferred.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and basic computer skills.
• Experience using RF scanners, forklifts, or pallet jacks is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily or scheduled cycle counts across warehouse zones.
• Compare physical counts to system records and investigate discrepancies.
• Use inventory software or WMS to record and reconcile variances.
• Report damaged, missing, or misplaced items to supervisors.
• Assist with inventory audits, stock rotation, and location accuracy.
• Collaborate with warehouse, shipping, and receiving teams to maintain inventory integrity.
• Follow safety and quality standards during all inventory activities.
