Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Cycle Counter I to support inventory control in our U.S. warehouse. You will count products, reconcile inventories, and verify system accuracy through meticulous record-keeping.

You will contribute to a reliable, safety-conscious operation and help ensure cycle counts align with distribution needs. The role requires forklift operation, basic math and SAP/Excel familiarity. You will research discrepancies, prepare reports, and document damaged goods.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Experience using SAP and Excel is preferred.
  • Forklift operation experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform cycle count and inventory audits with high accuracy.
  • Count items daily to verify inventory accuracy.
  • Follow cycle count procedures and company policies.
  • Research discrepancies and prepare cycle count reports.
  • Audit inventory and document damaged goods.
  • Identify inventory issues and develop solutions.
  • Record keeping and report generation.

Job description

The Cycle Counter I helps manage inventory by counting products and comparing the inventory-to-inventory logs and documents.

Requires use of forklifts and pallet jacks.

First Shift - Overtime as needed on evenings and weekends

A Day In The Life

Every day at Hubbell is different and you'll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you'll make a difference by:

  • Performing various warehouse inventory counting and porting operations with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Counting numerous items daily to validate inventory accuracy and system integrity.
  • Governing the cycle count processby adhering toLogistics Distribution Warehouse Cycle Count Program Procedures and corporate policy.
  • Researching inventory discrepancies.
  • Preparing various reports related to the cycle counting process.
  • Performing audits and writing receipts of inventory.
  • Tracking and reporting on uncommon products.
  • Developing solutions for inventory issues.
  • Inspecting products and keeping a record of damaged goods.
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
What will help you thrive in this role?
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Understanding of basic inventory control procedures.
  • Knowledge of SAP.
  • Microsoft Excel experience preferred.
  • Ability to use a forklift (previous experience preferred)
  • Basic math and analytical skills (required)
