Job summary

Stoughton Trailers, LLC is seeking an Inventory Clerk to support daily cycle counts and reconciliation between records and physical inventory. The role requires accuracy, teamwork and the ability to operate forklifts and related equipment to assist with material handling.

You will document counts and resolve discrepancies while maintaining safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. The position emphasizes daily equipment checks, timely data entry, and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Previous cycle counting experience preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems preferred.
• 1-3 years inventory or material handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Generate Daily Cycle Count Lists and ensure each are completed and documented.
• Verify counts performed by others, and correct records.
• Root Cause and correct discrepancies between records and physical on hand inventory.
• Operate tools and machines such as forklifts, hand jacks, scales, and data collection equipment.
• Perform daily checks on equipment and maintain safety procedures.
• Maintain good attendance and work overtime as required.
• Use computer to access information and process paperwork in a timely manner.

• Generate Daily Cycle Count Lists and ensure each are completed and documented
• Verify counts performed by others, and correct records
• Root Cause and correct discrepancies between records and physical on hand inventory
• Operate all types of tools and machines essential and necessary to the job, including, but not limited to: forklifts, hand jacks, tape measures, calculator, computers, loading docks, cranes, scales, data collection equipment, radios and copy machine
• Perform daily checks on equipment including fluid levels
• Perform other duties that may be assigned by the company
• Ability to work and communicate in a team environment
• Use computer to access information and process paperwork in a timely manner
• Attend scheduled work hours on a regular and timely basis
• Ensure the safety of others working in the vicinity of moving vehicles
• Ability to work mandatory overtime
• Ability to follow company policies and procedures
• Perform all assigned tasks in a safe, efficient, timely, accurate and highly productive manner according to company policy

Qualifications

• Previous experience conducting cycle counts and working with an ERP system is highly preferred
• 1-3 years Inventory or Material Handling experience
