Job summary

UFP Stockertown, LLC is seeking a Cycle Counter Clerk to track inventory of materials, identify root causes of discrepancies and record counts accurately in the system.

You will count physical inventory, maintain records, report variances, and support internal controls. A high school diploma and at least one year in inventory control are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum one year of inventory control experience.
• Knowledge of internal controls and company procedures.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Basic lumber math, grades and species knowledge.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Investigates discrepancies and documents corrections.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Counts and tracks physical inventory
• Maintains accurate records of counts and frequency of counts
• Communicates any variances or inventory discrepancies to management
• Records inventory counts in the accounting system
• Investigates any inventory discrepancies and document any corrections
• Ensures accuracy of the information in the system and compliance with internal controls
• Prepares various reports and correspondence as required
• Performs other duties as required

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Minimum one year of experience in inventory control or related area
• Working knowledge of inventory internal controls, and company procedures
• Working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
• Basic knowledge of lumber math, lumber grades and species
• Preferred understanding of company policies, practices and procedures
• Must be at least 18 years of age
