Job summary

Living Spaces Furniture is hiring a Cycle Counter to maintain high inventory accuracy and integrity. You will conduct daily cycle counts using an RF scanner, investigate variances, and implement corrective actions within a retail distribution network.

Responsibilities include locating goods in the WMS, coordinating with Inventory Control, and generating reports to support PO/RMA/TRN/SO adjustments. Requires a high school diploma, 1–3 years in warehousing, and forklift certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience in warehouse/distribution center, inventory control or cycle counting or related field.
• Forklift certification.
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Perform cycle counts using an RF scanner while adhering to the cycle counting process and guidelines.
• Accurately locate goods physically and in the computer database (WMS/RF Scanner).
• Work closely with Inventory Control to ensure inventory transaction accuracy.
• Research discrepancies between physical and system counts to identify root causes.
• Assist in cycle counts throughout the fiscal year in a timely manner.
• Provide assistance to distribution departments when requested.
• Maintain records of all cycle counts, inventory transactions, and correspondences.
• Communicate cycle count findings to Inventory Management.
• Ensure any damages are accurately reported.
• Work with cross-functional teams to resolve inventory count issues.
• Pull cycle count reports to research and adjust PO’s, RMA’s, TRN’s, SO’s, and P&L.
• Operate material handling equipment as necessary, not exceeding 50% of duties.
• Able to travel to Living Spaces stores to count and verify inventory levels.

Position Summary

The Cycle Counter is responsible for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity. Responsible for inventory accuracy and reconciliation on a daily basis, manage daily cycle count of all product. Investigate variances, identify underlying causes of variances, formulate and implement corrective action.

Position Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Perform cycle counts using an RF scanner while adhering to the cycle counting process, procedures and guidelines

• Accurately and efficiently locate goods, both physically and in computer database (WMS/RF Scanner)

• Work closely with Inventory Control to assure standards and accuracy of inventory transactions

• Research discrepancies between physical and system count to find root cause

• Assist in cycle counts throughout the fiscal year in a timely manner

• Provide assistance to the distribution departments when requested or assigned

• Maintain records of all cycle counts, inventory transactions and correspondences

• Communicate cycle count findings to Inventory Management

Qualifications

Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) equivalent required. One to three years of experience in warehouse/distribution center, inventory control or cycle counting or related field. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Outlook.

Certificates and Training: Forklift certification

Position Hiring Range

The hiring pay range provides a good faith estimate of the salary or hourly wage that Living Spaces expects to pay for the position upon hire. Pay will be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to: applicant's education, relevant work experience, knowledge, applicable and relevant skills and abilities, market demand, Company budget, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data. Living Spaces reserves the right to modify this page at any time.

Compensation: $17.40 - $22.60

Overtime pay is available for eligible, non-exempt Team Members. Reimbursement for expenses as required by applicable law and Company policy. Retail, Guest Services and Distribution Center Team Members are eligible to receive team bonus based on meeting specific goals and KPI's.
