Job summary

UFP Industries is seeking a Cycle Counter Clerk to track inventory across multiple materials and identify root causes of discrepancies. You will record counts in the system and work to maintain accurate, compliant inventory data in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role includes daily inventory counts, documenting variances, and producing routine inventory reports. A high school diploma and at least one year in inventory control are required, with proficiency in Excel/Word/Outlook

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in inventory control or related area.
• Working knowledge of inventory internal controls and company procedures.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Cycle Counter Clerk is responsible for tracking inventory of various materials; finding the root causes for inventory discrepancies and accurately recording inventory counts in the system.

SHIFT

M-F 7:00am - 3:30pm

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Counts and tracks physical inventory
• Maintains accurate records of counts and frequency of counts
• Communicates any variances or inventory discrepancies to management
• Records inventory counts in the accounting system
• Investigates any inventory discrepancies and document any corrections
• Ensures accuracy of the information in the system and compliance with internal controls
• Prepares various reports and correspondence as required
• Performs other duties as required

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Minimum one year of experience in inventory control or related area
• Working knowledge of inventory internal controls, and company procedures
• Working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
• Basic knowledge of lumber math, lumber grades and species
• Preferred understanding of company policies, practices and procedures
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Hourly Pay Range:

$21.00-$25.00 hourly- dependent on experience*

*pay range may be adjusted depending on cost of living

Bonus/Incentive Pay

Incentive pay may be available for certain job roles and may include piece rate incentives, weekly production bonuses, and trip rate bonuses.

A discretionary annual bonus based on Company and business unit performance may also be provided.
