Job summary

Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. is hiring a Cycle Counter for our Bowling Green, KY facility. This role maintains inventory control, inputs data, and ensures accurate records across storage and off-site facilities.

You will monitor counts, reconcile discrepancies, and help improve procedures to increase efficiency and reduce costs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Strong calculative and analytical skill sets.
• Ability to manage time to meet deadlines and maintain data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Accurately processes, inputs and maintains control of all inventory material activity.
• Monitor and maintain current inventory levels.
• Reconcile stock counts to computer reports.
• Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle counts.
• Review documentation and search for discrepancies; troubleshoot quantity discrepancies.
• Develop and implement improvements to procedures to maximize efficiency and cut costs.

Location: Bowling Green, KY

Cannon Automotive Solutions, a division of Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping, has an immediate opportunity for a Cycle Counter in our Bowling Green, Kentucky Facility. The Cycle Counter is responsible for maintaining inputs and control of all inventory material. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in cold stamping, be self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Summary of Responsibilities:

• Accurately processes, inputs and maintains control of all inventory material activity at all Morton storage and off-site supplier facilities.
• Monitoring and maintaining current inventory levels
• Reconciling stock counts to computer reports
• Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle counts
• Review documentation and monitor product codes to search for discrepancies; troubleshoot quantity discrepancies between stock and records
• Develop and implement improvements to existing operational procedures in order to maximize efficiency and cut operations costs
• Compile, distribute file necessary documents
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
• Should possess strong calculative and analytical skill sets
• Ability and effectiveness to manage time to meet required deadlines
• High level of data accuracy

Preferred Requirements:

• College level diploma or equivalent education and work experience
• Visual and/or CMS ERP Experience
