Job summary

Beyond SOF is seeking a Cyberspace Analyst II to support Mission Assurance products and cyberspace operations at Fort Meade. The role focuses on coordinating cybersecurity activities, cloud security alignment with DoD guidelines, and information sharing within the DODIN.

The candidate will develop concept papers and technical documentation, participate in working groups, and assist with policy development and program documentation related to cyberspace operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum six years of experience as a Cyberspace Analyst or related field.
• Minimum High School Diploma.
• DOD 8140/DOD 8570 IAM Level II Certification, CSSP Incident Responder, or CSSP Infrastructure Support.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supports cloud security implementation, controls, and operations per best practices and DoD guidance.
• Conducts research on emerging cyber threats and drafts assessments based on threats.
• Collaborates with government partners to monitor evolving adversary capabilities.
• Coordinates and participates in working groups and workshops for new concepts and programs.
• Provides technical expertise for cyberspace operations requirements, processes, and directives.
• Assists with policy writing, analysis, and consolidation of feedback on DoD policies.
• Provides planning and integration support for cyberspace operations and mission enhancement.
• Writes cybersecurity policy documents like Cyber Strategy and CONOPs for DoDIN operations.
