As an information security specialist, you will lead the implementation of security solutions for our clients and support their efforts to protect their business. Your key responsibilities

1. Engage in research and discovery of new security vulnerabilities, attend and speak at security conferences, and share knowledge through various channels such as white papers and blogs.
2. Assist in delivering comprehensive vulnerability management services, working with EY leadership to develop the firm’s offerings.

Skills and attributes for success

• Build rapport and develop internal relationships to provide advice and support, delivering quality client services.
• Monitor progress, manage risks, and keep stakeholders informed.
• Stay updated on industry trends relevant to cybersecurity.
• Evaluate and tailor vulnerability management programs and solutions for clients.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and identify control weaknesses.
• Familiarity with standards like ISO 27001-2, PCI DSS, NIST, etc., and operational experience with vulnerability management tools.
• Evaluate tools and assist in vendor selection; conduct root cause analysis and assess exploitability and impact risks.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts including incident response, governance, risk, compliance, and architecture.
• Assist in project management for cybersecurity initiatives.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field with at least 4 years of experience, or a master's degree with 3 years of experience.
• Familiarity with security standards and operational experience with vulnerability management tools.
• Understanding of operating systems, cloud concepts, and networking fundamentals.
• Strong skills in querying, reporting, and API integration.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with senior management and technical staff.
• Valid driver’s license and passport, with willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Preferred qualifications

• Prior consulting experience, OT environment experience, cybersecurity certifications like CISSP, and experience in cloud, penetration testing, application security, scripting, and regulatory sectors.
