Your key responsibilities

• Research and discover new security vulnerabilities, attend and speak at top security conferences, and share knowledge through various channels including white papers and blogs.
• Build a full-service vulnerability management offering, assisting in delivering services and developing the firm’s vulnerability management solutions.

Skills and attributes for success

• Develop rapport, understand client concerns, and deliver quality services.
• Monitor progress, manage risk, and keep stakeholders informed.
• Stay updated on industry trends and evaluate client vulnerability management programs.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and control weaknesses, familiarity with standards like ISO 27001, PCI DSS, NIST, etc.
• Operational experience with vulnerability management tools (e.g., Qualys, Rapid7, Tenable) and prioritization platforms (e.g., Kenna, Vulcan).
• Knowledge of patch management tools and ability to evaluate and select vendors.
• Conduct root cause analysis, evaluate exploitability, and understand cybersecurity concepts including incident response, governance, and risk management.
• Assist in cybersecurity project management and communicate effectively with technical and leadership teams.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field, with 4+ years of experience; or a master's degree with 3+ years.
• Experience with security standards and vulnerability management tools, understanding of operating systems and cloud concepts.
• Strong query writing, API integration skills, and excellent communication abilities.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally; valid driver’s license and passport required.

Preferred qualifications

• Prior consulting experience, OT environment experience, cybersecurity certifications like CISSP, penetration testing, application security, scripting skills, and experience in financial services or attack surface management.
