As an information security specialist, you will lead the implementation of security solutions for our clients and assist them in safeguarding their business. You will be part of an international team of specialists addressing complex information security issues and enhancing business resilience. You will collaborate with our Advanced Security Centers to utilize cutting-edge tools against cybercrime.

Your key responsibilities

1. Our security professionals bring diverse industry knowledge, technical expertise, and specialized skills. The team stays current by researching new vulnerabilities, attending and speaking at top security conferences, and sharing insights through various channels including white papers and blogs.
2. Our Vulnerability Management team aims to offer comprehensive solutions for clients' vulnerability management programs. As a Manager Consultant, you will support client engagements and contribute to developing EY’s vulnerability management services.

Skills and attributes for success

• Building rapport by understanding others’ concerns and needs, and developing a supportive internal network. Delivering high-quality client service.
• Monitoring progress, managing risks, and keeping stakeholders informed.
• Staying updated on industry trends relevant to cybersecurity and client business.
• Evaluating client vulnerability management programs and tailoring solutions.
• Performing vulnerability assessments to identify weaknesses and evaluate controls.
• Familiarity with security standards like ISO 27001-2, PCI DSS, NIST, and tools such as Qualys, Rapid7, Tenable, etc.
• Operational experience with vulnerability management tools and platforms, including deployment and configuration.
• Knowledge of patch management tools and evaluation of security tools and vendors.
• Conducting root cause analysis and assessing exploitability and impact of vulnerabilities.
• Understanding cybersecurity concepts including risk management, privacy, and enterprise security strategies.
• Supporting cybersecurity project management, including planning and status reporting.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field with at least 6 years of related experience; or a master’s degree with 5 years of experience.
• Relevant cybersecurity certification such as CISSP.
• Deep understanding of vulnerability management lifecycle and security standards.
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability management and patching tools.
• Knowledge of operating systems, cloud concepts, and networking fundamentals.
• Ability to analyze data and generate reports and dashboards.
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally; valid driver’s license and passport required.

Preferred additional experience

• Consulting background, OT environments, Cloud/Container environments, Penetration Testing, Application Security, Scripting, Regulatory experience, Attack Surface Management.
