As an information security specialist, you will lead security solution implementations for clients, supporting their business protection. Your key responsibilities

• Research and discover new security vulnerabilities; attend and speak at top security conferences; share knowledge through white papers, blogs, and industry groups.
• Build a full-service vulnerability management offering, providing tailored client solutions, and contribute to EY’s vulnerability management service development.

Skills and attributes for success

• Develop rapport, understand client concerns, and deliver quality service.
• Monitor progress, manage risks, and keep stakeholders informed.
• Stay updated on industry trends relevant to cybersecurity.
• Evaluate and assist in client vulnerability management programs.
• Own portions of vulnerability management solutions, perform assessments, and identify control weaknesses.
• Familiarity with standards like ISO 27001-2, PCI DSS, NIST, etc., and operational experience with tools like Qualys, Rapid7, Tenable, etc.
• Evaluate tools, conduct root cause analysis, assess exploitability, and understand cybersecurity concepts.
• Assist in project management, develop project plans, and communicate effectively with technical and leadership teams.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 6+ years of experience, or a master’s with 5+ years.
• Relevant cybersecurity certification (e.g., CISSP).
• Strong understanding of vulnerability management lifecycle, standards, and operational experience with management tools.
• Knowledge of OS, cloud, networking, and ability to analyze vulnerabilities.
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Preferred qualifications

• Prior consulting experience, OT or cloud environment experience, penetration testing, application security, scripting skills, and regulatory experience.
