Job summary

Associated Electric Cooperative (AECI) is seeking an Instructional Design Intern to assist the cybersecurity team in creating engaging eLearning content. You’ll design, revise, and test training modules and help tailor materials for a wide audience of employees.

Based at our Springfield, Missouri headquarters for the 2026-2027 academic year, this in-person internship offers hands-on experience, collaboration with professionals, and the chance to build a portfolio while learning best practices in

Qualifications

Pursuing degree in instructional design or related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with Microsoft Office.
Organized and able to manage multiple projects.
Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

Help design, develop, and update training modules.
Edit and proofread learning materials to ensure quality and consistency.
Create graphics and promotional materials for training modules.
Test eLearning courses to ensure proper function and learner experience.
Partner with other divisions to upload, organize, and maintain learning modules.
Participate in instructional design meetings and project planning.
Build a portfolio of real-world instructional design projects.
