Job summary

Astrion at Eglin AFB, FL is hiring a Cybersecurity Test Lead Mid-Level to plan and execute cybersecurity developmental and operational tests for major DoD programs. The role requires coordinating multi-skilled teams and interfacing with DoD customers, while balancing in-office and telework as needed.

You will manage test events lasting 5-10 days, travel up to 15-20 weeks annually, and maintain security protocols with a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Technical Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years in test, cybersecurity, or IT systems teams.
• Active SECRET clearance and ability to obtain Top Secret SSBI.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Experience with DoD development and/or operational testing.
• Experience with aircraft and weapon systems testing/evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Manage test projects and program objectives with DoD and federal customers.
• Track test requirements and help team meet them.
• Contribute to test plans documenting objectives, methods, and resources.
• Support development of cost and schedule estimates.
• Coordinate resources and test events to ensure objectives are met.
• Document test results clearly for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Stay current on cybersecurity threats and adjust tests accordingly.
