Job summary

American Systems is seeking a Cybersecurity test engineer to join the DTE&A team at the Mark Center in Alexandria. The role focuses on DoW cyber risk, T&E processes, and cybersecurity policy to support development and assessment of warfighting capabilities.

The candidate will work with MDAPs and prototypes, review strategic documents, and serve as the cybersecurity SME across multiple programs while coordinating with DoW and DTE&A leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of experience using Digital Engineering tools is required.
• TS/SCI clearance is desirable or required for the role.
• Experience with DoW/T&E cybersecurity processes and policy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide cybersecurity SME expertise for DoW systems and modernization efforts.
• Collaborate with DTE&A assessment teams and DoW programs on cybersecurity issues.
• Review TEMPs, SEPs, LCSPs, and ADMs focusing on cybersecurity risk.
