Job summary
ThreatDown is seeking a skilled Technical Support Engineer to join our global support team. You will provide technical support to small business owners, IT specialists, and MSPs by identifying, diagnosing, and resolving software and hardware issues across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.
This is an L1 role within a tiered team (L1/L2/L3) with structured onboarding, coaching, and opportunities to grow.
Qualifications
- 1+ years in technical support or IT administration for business customers.
- Go-to problem solver who can diagnose software/hardware issues.
- Able to read logs, reproduce issues, and explain findings clearly.
Responsibilities
- Respond to support requests via phone, email, or chat within targets.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve software, hardware, and network issues.
- Reproduce issues in a virtual environment and collect logs for investigation.
- Document tickets and maintain accurate records in Zendesk.
- Maintain knowledgebase articles and SOPs based on recurring issues.
