NLG is seeking an IT Cybersecurity Systems Administrator to protect our IT infrastructure by implementing security measures, monitoring for threats, and ensuring data confidentiality, integrity and availability across systems and networks. The role requires proactive vulnerability identification and incident response in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of IT systems administration with a focus on cybersecurity.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and security technologies.
• Experience with security monitoring tools and incident response procedures.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA, or GDPR.

Mansioni

• Manage and maintain cybersecurity systems including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection solutions.
• Monitor network traffic and system logs to detect and respond to security incidents and potential threats in real-time.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate security weaknesses.
• Develop, implement, and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices in alignment with organizational and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure secure configuration and deployment of new systems and applications.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging cybersecurity threats, technologies, and compliance standards.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on cybersecurity awareness and best practices.
• Document security incidents, prepare reports, and recommend improvements to enhance the security posture.
