Job summary

The ideal candidate has a strong background in cybersecurity within IT operations, experience with SIEM and cloud security, and a commitment to maintaining compliant, secure environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, cybersecurity, or related field.
• At least 3 years of IT systems administration focusing on cybersecurity.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs and security tech.
• Experience with security monitoring tools and incident response procedures.
• Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA or GDPR.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain cybersecurity systems including firewalls and IDS/IPS.
• Monitor network traffic and logs to detect and respond to incidents in real time.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and remediation planning.
• Develop and enforce security policies aligning with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams for secure deployments.
• Stay updated on emerging threats and compliance standards.
• Provide security awareness training and document incidents with reports.
