Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking a cybersecurity internship to explore across Cybersecurity, Information Security, Risks, Threat Detection, Security Operations, IAM, GRC, and Security Awareness. You will gain hands-on experience and collaborate with security professionals to strengthen the security posture of a leading healthcare organization.

Ideal candidates are curious problem-solvers enrolled in an undergraduate program, with a High School diploma or equivalent and a willingness to learn

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university or college, preferably in a related field.

• Learn various job functions within the Managed Care industry.
• Apply academic knowledge and contribute to projects.
• Communicate project status and results to staff mentors and management.
• Attend training and development presentations to enhance professional competencies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.

Position Purpose:

Learn about various processes and functions within the Managed Care industry and develop professionally by contributing to projects that support the business.

We're seeking curious, collaborative problem-solvers who are passionate about cybersecurity. Interns may support projects across Cybersecurity, Information Security, Risk Management, Threat Detection, Security Operations, Identity & Access Management, Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), and Security Awareness. Through hands-on experience and collaboration with security professionals, interns will develop technical and analytical skills while helping strengthen the security and resilience of a leading healthcare organization.

• Learn various job functions within the Managed Care industry and explore various career opportunities
• Apply academic knowledge and learn new skills by contributing to various projects
• Communicate project status and results to staff mentors and management
• Attend training and development presentations to enhance professional competencies
• Performs other duties as assigned

Education / Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent. Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university or college, preferably in a field related to the hiring department through the internship period.

The salary range is: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
