Job summary

Invictus International seeks a Cybersecurity Subject Matter Functional Expert IV to provide expert support, analysis, and guidance on highly complex cybersecurity problems, with emphasis on NGFW deployment and integration in DoD/IC contexts.

You will participate in executive-level project teams, contribute to SIEM analytics, incident response automation, and threat hunting, and coordinate with government personnel to ensure requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• Minimum eight years of relevant experience in DoD/IC environments.
• Active DoD 8570 IAT III certification.
• Current TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph ability.
• Experience in DoD/IC environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert support, analysis, and guidance on highly complex cybersecurity problems.
• Serve on executive-level project teams offering technical direction and alternatives.
• Oversee deployment, policy design, and integration of Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW).
• Contribute to SIEM analytics, log correlation, and threat detection.
• Support SOAR playbook development and incident response automation.
• Coordinate with contract management and government personnel to define problems and ensure solutions meet customer needs.

Job Details

• Provide expert support, analysis, research, and advice into exceptionally complex problems, and processes relating to the subject matter
• Serve as technical expert on executive-level project teams providing technical direction, interpretation and alternatives
• Responsible for the deployment, policy design, and integration Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW)
• Contribute to SIEM analytics, log correlation, and threat detection
• Support SOAR playbook development and incident response automation
• Facilitate endpoint telemetry, threat hunting, and remediation
• Perform highly specialized and technical tasks associated with the most current and cutting-edge technologies
• May serve as a technical consultant to a project or a number of projects dealing with area of technical expertise
• Coordinate with contract management and government personnel to ensure the problems have been properly defined and the solutions satisfy customer needs

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institute in an area applicable to the position; an additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
• Minimum eight (8) years of relevant experience in addition to education level
• Must possess current DoD 8570 IAT III certification
• Experience working in a DoD or IC environment desired
• Current active TS/SCI clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph
