Job summary

The Eliassen Group in Washington, DC is seeking a Sr. Solutions Architect III - Cyber to design, implement, and manage scalable cybersecurity solutions across multiple domains, including IL5 to IL6+ environments.

You will lead the stand-up of a Security Operations Center, integrate its tools, and engineer controls aligned to federal frameworks. US citizens with active Top Secret clearance are required; w2 employment and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 10+ years as a cybersecurity engineer with SOC, Cross Domain Solutions, and continuous monitoring.
• Expert in SIEM and log analysis with strong query skills.
• Experience mapping controls to NIST SP 800-53, RMF, ICD 503, FISMA, FedRAMP.
• Experience implementing network/infrastructure controls across IL5 to IL6+ on NIPR/SIPR/JWICS.
• Strong incident response and forensic analysis capabilities.
• Security automation experience and ability to work with stakeholders.

Our client seeks a Sr. Solutions Architect III - Cyber to design, implement, and manage scalable cybersecurity solutions across multiple domains. You will lead the implementation of a Security Operations Center and integrate its tools while engineering controls aligned to federal frameworks. You will apply deep SOC, CDS, and automation expertise to improve detection, response, and continuous monitoring in classified environments.

Due to federal security clearance requirements, the applicant must be a United States Citizen with an active Top Secret clearance. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity, offering a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package. Qualified applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis.

Salary: $185,000 - $240,000/ yr. w2

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable cybersecurity solutions across multiple domains.
• Lead the design, stand-up, and integration of a Security Operations Center and its tools.

• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to communicate architecture, risks, and remediation plans.

Experience Requirements

• Active TS//SCI or SCI-eligible clearance.
• At least 10 years as a cybersecurity engineer with specialization in SOCs, Cross Domain Solutions, and security control implementations with continuous monitoring and auditing.
• Expert-level experience engineering and implementing SIEM and related security tools, with strong log query and analysis skills.
• Strong experience implementing controls mapped to NIST SP 800-53, RMF, ICD 503, FISMA, and FedRAMP.
• Demonstrated experience implementing controls for network and infrastructure services across IL5 to IL6+ on NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and infrastructure components.
• Expert proficiency in incident response, security incident handling, and forensic analysis.
• Experience with security automation to improve efficiency, scalability, and response.
• Effective communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• CISSP or equivalent certification meeting DoD 8140 requirements.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
