Life Cycle Engineering is seeking a NCIS Cybersecurity Specialist to support the NCIS IT mission in Quantico, Virginia. The role involves establishing system-wide security requirements and guiding junior staff in cybersecurity/IA implementations.
Qualified candidates will have 5–7 years of IT security experience, RMF/NIST expertise, and DoD 8140 compliance readiness to support RMF A&A activities and enterprise security deployments, with up to 25% travel.
Join Life Cycle Engineering in support of the NCIS IT support services mission headquartered in Quantico, Virginia. The Information Technology Directorate (ITD) supports the NCIS core mission areas to investigate and defeat criminal, terrorist, and foreign intelligence threats by planning for and providing services through appropriate use of the people, equipment, technology, and infrastructure resources of the United States (U.S.) Navy and Marine Corps.
This position is expected to start in Q3 of 2026.
As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you will establish and satisfy system-wide information security requirements based on analysis of user, policy, regulatory, and resource demands. Support the government Cybersecurity personnel in the development and implementation of cybersecurity/IA doctrine and policies. Provide leadership and guidance in the development, design and application of solutions implemented by junior cybersecurity/IA staff.
Fully adjudicated Secret clearance (TS/SCI eligibility).
